Cancer care

Everyone’s cancer journey is different, and each journey is unique.

That’s why Ascension Wisconsin, with your support, is there from the first diagnosis to help guide patients and their loved ones on every step of their journey to survivorship.

Consistently recognized as the best care available, Ascension Wisconsin Cancer Care reduces the burden of cancer on you, your loved ones, and our community.

Our multidisciplinary approach -- community education, state-of-the-art treatment, experienced specialists, nurse navigators, clinical trials, and other support services -- ensures that you receive personalized and compassionate care, to give you the best chance of surviving cancer.

Because early detection provides the best chance for recovery, we’re expanding our screening to identify high-risk patients, to find and eliminate those cancers earlier. And because we’re committed to health equity, through our community clinics and outreach programs, we’re always seeking those who might not otherwise have access to care. Read more about the High-Risk Cancer Program being developed at Ascension.

Your support assures continued excellence and equity in delivery of cancer care throughout our community.

Please give now to support excellent cancer care throughout our community.

Cardiovascular care

Heart health is critical to well-being at every stage of every life. Yet heart disease remains the leading cause of death.

With your support, we’re expanding our cardiovascular health program -- to perform more minimally invasive heart procedures that have patients recovering back at home in just days. It’s just one of the comprehensive and personalized services we provide, thanks to our skilled cardiovascular caregivers.

Among people who are impoverished, heart disease takes a greater toll. That’s why we created Be of Good Heart, a community outreach program that screens people for diabetes and hypertension -- precursors of cardiovascular disease -- so we can control those illnesses and keep their hearts healthy.

Heart care is changing, and Ascension Wisconsin is leading the way.

Women and Family Health

Mothers and the children they bring into the world deserve the best care.

With your support, we’re keeping women healthy and giving their babies everything they need for healthy births -- and healthy starts to life.

Donors made possible the expanded Labor and Delivery Unit at Ascension Columbia St. Mary’s Milwaukee . . . the Maternal Health Navigator and Certified Nurse Midwife Practice at Ascension St. Joseph . . . and the Blanket of Love Sanctuary community outreach program. All help fulfill our mission to promote maternal and infant health.

Prenatal care is important to healthy pregnancies and healthy births, so the Maternal Health Navigator helps remove barriers to that care -- connecting women with the resources they need to keep appointments, complete their care, and give birth to full-term, healthy weight babies.

Your compassion will save lives -- reaching vulnerable mothers, babies, and families.

Community Benefit Programs

Our mission is to care for those who are vulnerable and underserved. With your support, Ascension Wisconsin Community Benefit Programs -- from charity care to outreach, education, and services -- remove barriers to healthcare access.
Ascension Seton Dental Clinic delivers urgent and restorative dental care to adults and children.
Ascension St. Ben’s Clinic and Ascension Angel of Hope Clinic bring primary healthcare to the homeless and others at risk.
Ascension Ebenezer Health Resource Center provides health education, preventive care and screening, support groups, chronic disease management, and a diabetic-friendly food pantry.

And Ascension Wisconsin reaches out to people in need through our Community Health Ministry program in Milwaukee.

In southeast Wisconsin, the area of greatest health disparity in our state, these programs bring effective and respectful care -- care that most of us take for granted -- to people who wouldn’t have access to it otherwise.

Please give now to build a healthy community for all.

Behavioral Health

We offer compassionate, personalized treatment programs to help adults and older adults with behavioral and mental health needs. Many addiction, behavioral services and mental health units in the Ozaukee and Milwaukee communities depend on your generous philanthropic support.

Caregiver Support

Our caregivers deliver the care that our community needs most of all, right now, during this COVID-19 emergency.

They are working day and night, despite hardship at home, to help people who have the coronavirus and to keep everyone safe. They have been working long hours and extra shifts for a year now.

Your support will immediately help caregivers in the Milwaukee area
Please give now to help our caregivers help patients and the community.

Nursing Education

Retired physician Dr. Anthony Linn was very passionate about his team, especially the nursing staff. To honor his dedication, the Dr. Anthony Linn Nursing Education Fund was established. This fund supports an annual group learning opportunity and provides individual financial assistance for qualified Ascension Columbia St. Mary's Hospital Milwaukee registered nurses for training that will enhance their practice.
Please give now to support educational opportunities for nurses - who are at the heart of our patients' care.
