Behavioral Health

We understand that caring for your mind is just as important as caring for your body. Addiction, behavioral and mental health issues affect the individual and entire family. Our Behavioral Health team has personalized and compassionate treatment programs to help individuals in both our adult and geropsych unit. Restoring emotional, physical and spiritual well-being is an important part of every treatment plan.

Cancer Care

The Michael D. Wachtel Cancer Center at Ascension Mercy Hospital strives to enhance the lives of individuals and families through their cancer journey. Our vision is achieved by providing mind, body and spiritual care that is compassionate, multidisciplinary and of the highest quality. We help balance the physical and psychosocial aspects of our patients’ cancer care.

Our vision is to be the committed leader in compassionate cardiovascular health through a holistic, accessible, person-centered approach across the continuum. Experienced cardiovascular specialists in our Heart & Lung Center provide the care that is right for each patient. With general and interventional cardiologists and cardiovascular/thoracic surgeons trained in the latest heart care testing, treatment and procedures, and as part of a national network, patients have access to advanced heart care close to home.

Ascension Mercy Hospital offers one of the highest-quality cardiovascular care facilities in Northeast Wisconsin.  Working closely with our talented cardiac care team, who recognize the need to continually improve patient care through equipment and technology upgrades, we have embarked on a two-year campaign to raise funds to expand and enhance care with expanded and innovative services.

Heart disease kills more adults in the United States than any other disease.  Recognizing the early signs of heart trouble and seeking prompt medical treatment increases your odds of a healthy future. The cardiology team at Mercy Hospital uses state-of-the-art tools to diagnose and treat a variety of heart problems. Our foundation works with cardiac care physicians to provide funding to stay current with major medical equipment, medical advancements, prevention programming and services for patients living with chronic conditions.

If you’re diagnosed with a cardiovascular condition, our care network — including experienced cardiologists, vascular specialists and cardiothoracic surgeons — work together to develop the right treatment plan for you. We offer proven, effective nonsurgical treatments whenever possible; our cardiovascular and thoracic physicians also specialize in the latest surgical techniques.

Ascension’s care doesn’t end with your initial treatment or surgery. Our rehabilitation program can help improve your long-term heart health and ongoing independence. From screenings to treatment to rehabilitation, we’re committed to providing the best care for your heart — and your full health.
