Key areas of focus are mental health, healthy weight, disease prevention, healthy living and support for the poor and vulnerable.

Women and Families
Expert caregivers in the Women & Families department, including Labor and Delivery, Neonatal Intensive Care and Inpatient Pediatrics, provide family-centered, evidence-based and culturally inclusive care. Caregivers utilize the latest in innovation and technology to provide an excellent patient experience.

Needs of the Poor and Underserved
As a Catholic, faith-based healthcare organization, our mission of serving the poor, vulnerable and underserved in our community differentiates us as a care provider. This has been, and will always be, at the core of who we are. Annually, we provide more than $2,000,000 in charity care to families in our communities through Ascension St. Elizabeth and Calumet Hospitals.
