COVID-19 Response Fund
Ascension Borgess has been your health partner since 1889 when the Sisters of St. Joseph came with a profound commitment to a philosophy of caring and giving that is unchanged. Today we remain steadfast to that same Catholic mission.
Your contribution to the COVID-19 Response Fund supports three critical areas:
Helping poor and vulnerable patients cover healthcare costs related to COVID-19;
Invest in our hospital’s supply, equipment, training or program needs related to COVID-19 response; and
Supporting hospital caregivers’ needs or hardships resulting from COVID-19.
At Ascension Borgess Hospitals we have always focused on helping the poor and most vulnerable. With this current pandemic, we remain steadfast to this core mission. The COVID-19 Response Fund resources will help our most vulnerable populations with their healthcare costs.
It is imperative that we provide our frontline healthcare workers with the necessary resources to perform their jobs at a high level in a safe environment. Currently, the COVID-19 Response Fund will aid Ascension Borgess Hospitals with much needed supplies and equipment. Once we emerge from this crisis, and in preparation for future pandemics, there will be great need for new technologies and increased training and education for doctors, nurses, and clinicians.
For many caregivers and patients, the current environment is causing financial challenges as well as personal sacrifices. To help address this, we are using the Associate Hardship Fund to help our caregivers cover extra costs incurred during these difficult times.
