Those are words from an Ascension Genesys Hospital cancer patient who was experiencing a financial crisis during her cancer treatment. Your support of the Tree of Love* Campaign at Ascension Genesys helped that patient when she needed it the most.

“I can't even begin to tell you how thankful I am that Ascension Genesys Foundation Tree of Love program was able to cover some of my bills. The eviction and shutoff notices I received caused me so much stress, and now I can focus on treating my cancer without those looming over me and not worrying how I would pay my bills.”

*The Tree of Love is a 30-foot tower created with 700 live poinsettias. It symbolizes strength, courage and memories of loved ones who have passed away from cancer and celebrates those who are with us today!

How Do 130 Golfers Improve Patient Care In The Ascension Genesys Hospital Emergency Department? 

The answer is quite simple. Golfers and volunteers who participated in the 2021 Ascension Genesys Foundation Annual Charity Golf Classic raised more than $127,000 in gross proceeds. Due to a day of play, new Emergency Department stretchers are now available to all patients who need emergency care at Ascension Genesys Hospital.

SAVE THE DATE - The 29th Annual Ascension Genesys Foundation Charity Golf Classic is scheduled for Monday, June 13, at Warwick Hills Golf and Country Club. Registration is at 9 a.m. with a 10 a.m. shotgun start.
