A Cancer Patient Will Receive The Prescription Medications They Desperately Need Because Of You!
Your Tree of Love* gift in support of the Cancer Patient Support Fund at Ascension Genesys Hospital is making a difference! Your donated dollars are providing cancer patients in need with transportation to attend medical appointments, financial assistance to ensure utilities are not turned off, and help with the cost of prescription medications.
Thank you for making your gift to help a patient who is struggling with expenses after discharge from the hospital. The impact of your gift doubled when Molina Healthcare matched donations received on Giving Tuesday! The $10,170 raised will directly benefit cancer patients in our community.
Sovita Credit Union Employees Shared Their Christmas Spirit With Healthcare Workers At Ascension Genesys Hospital!
The employees at Sovita Credit Union packed bags full of treats for our frontline healthcare workers. This kind and generous gesture helped to lift the spirits of our associates before Christmas!
Jennifer Shew, Director of Marketing for Sovita Credit Union and a Genesys Foundation board member, and Julie Forbush, a Sovita Business Development Representative, delivered the treats to the hospital in December. There were enough for associates on all three shifts throughout the hospital. Everyone who received a treat bag was extremely thankful for the thoughtfulness!
Two Generous Donors Made An Impact On Patient Care Through Their Planned Gifts To Ascension Genesys Hospital!
Planned gifts from the Edward Sly Trust and the Jack Frost Trust made it possible for Ascension Genesys Hospital to provide greater comfort and convenience for our patients through an integrated new state-of-the-art MRI facility. These legacy gifts also helped to improve critical cardiac procedures such as ablations, micro pacemaker implants and Watchman procedures through the purchase of an Intracardiac Echo (ICE) machine for the Cardiac Cath Lab.
