Caregiver Support

Our front-line caregivers deliver the care that our community needs

Caregiver Support is needed most of all, right now, during this COVID-19 emergency. They are working day and night, despite hardship at home, to help people who have the coronavirus and to keep everyone safe. They have been working long hours and extra shifts for a year now.

But it puts them and their families at greater risk of getting the virus themselves—and it takes a toll in many other ways.

Your support will immediately help caregivers in the Milwaukee area—allowing them to focus on restoring patients’ health, containing the spread of the virus, and protecting our community.

Your gift will:

  • provide personal protection items to safeguard hospital caregivers so they do not become infected or spread infection to their families at home.
  • bring some much-needed respite -- fresh coffee, healthy, convenient meals or snacks that help front-line staff work extra hours, or comfort rooms in each hospital where caregivers can unmask and unwind safel.
  • provide financial assistance for their families in need because of the economic collapse—the cost of child care or elder care, lost income from a spouse who has been laid off
  • provide assistance for caregivers at Ascension St. Ben’s Clinic for the homeless as they vaccinate and care for the most vulnerable among us—the people who live on our streets and shelters, where they are at higher risk of coronavirus.

Your support makes an impact

Especially now, when COVID-19 has magnified needs, and so many people and resources are being devoted to fighting the pandemic.
Another caregiver who was helped thanks to donor support said: “I really appreciate having somewhere I could turn to. Makes these uncertain times more bearable.”

With your gift to support our caregivers, you will help them—so they can help you, your loved ones, and our community.

Give now to support our caregivers.
