Thank you for participating in our 33rd Annual Love Light program this holiday season, sponsored by St. Elizabeth Hospital Foundation and Ascension at Home-Hospice.
We encourage you to watch the video of the 2020 tree lighting: View the Tree Ceremony of Dec. 7, 2020.
For the last 33 years, this program has been a tradition to our organization started by a group of volunteers in 1987. A special thank you to the Lynch Family as well as the students of Xavier High School Swing Choir for sharing their talent and voices.
Donations can be given in memory or honor of a loved one. To participate, please donate online or complete and return the donation form (click to download). Forms and donations can be mailed or dropped off at Ascension at Home-Hospice (formerly Affinity Visiting Nurses) located at 816 W Winneconne Avenue in Neenah, or the following departments at St. Elizabeth Hospital: Welcome Desk in main entrance, Foundation or Volunteer Services. All donations will benefit the St. Elizabeth Hospital Volunteers Pledge Fund or Hospice.
Volunteers Pledge Fund: St. Elizabeth Hospital volunteers strive to live the values, promise, and mission of Ascension by providing support to a number of life-saving programs at Ascension St. Elizabeth Hospital. Their efforts help fund a number of crucial hospital priorities by purchasing innovative medical equipment and necessary supplies, funding life-changing healthcare and wellness programs, and financially supporting the critical care of the less fortunate members of our community.
Ascension at Home-Hospice (formerly Affinity Visiting Nurses): Ascension at Home-Hospice provides holistic end-of-life care to people of all ages, with any terminal diagnosis, wherever they call home. Their survivors are provided with grief support for at least 13 months following the death, helping them through the painful first year and first anniversary of the loss. In addition, grief support services are available to anyone in the community free of charge, regardless of their involvement with hospice prior to the death.
Donations can be a Christmas gift that will contribute to the quality of life in our community. Contact Heather at 815.319.2488 or Heather.Zoromski@ascension.org.
The Ascension Cancer Care team for the 2020 Cancer Walk has cancelled the planned walk for 2020 due to Ascension not supporting large group gatherings this year to help decrease the spread of COVID. Please check back for event details for the 2021 Cancer Walk. Thank you for your past support and understanding for the current need to not hold our event this year.
Rock Cancer is the primary annual fundraiser for the Spierings Cancer Foundation. The event is held in late summer each year and is a day-long celebration of life and music and fun.
For 2020, the physical event has been cancelled. You are invited to walk in honor of your loved one batting cancer or in memory of someone who lost their battle with the I CANCER-FIVE virtual 5k. Walk anytime and anywhere, snap a photo of you, your friends or family and post it to their Facebook page.
