 Kids Together Against Cancer

As a parent or caregiver with cancer, you may find yourself suddenly overwhelmed with appointments, information, and emotions.  It may be difficult to maintain a normal schedule at home, work, and with your families. Parenting during this time can bring a range of challenges for children and families. Parents often do not know how to talk to their children about their illness and treatment, which may create barriers that increase a child’s distress and fears. Children of all ages will have doubts and questions about their future and that of their parents.
