Gifts received in support of the Christmas Store Fund at Ascension Providence Hospital made it possible for families in need to receive the following this past December: a gift card for Kohl’s to buy presents; age-appropriate books and candies for children; a layette set for infants and a Kroger gift card (courtesy of the Kroger Co.) for food during the holidays.

Here is one of the notes of appreciation received:

“My daughter and I are honored and grateful for your loving kindness and thoughtfulness, especially during a weakened economy. Your donation will help provide my child with needed gear for the winter such as gloves, a scarf, a hat, and snacks for school. She is a growing child and replacing her gear is vital! I will have the funds to keep her safe and warm – thank you.” - From a cancer patient with a young daughter
