Alex Stephenson, a graduate of Alcona High School, received his Bachelor of Arts from Alma College in Political Science and Communication and a Master of Science in Information and Communication Sciences from Ball State University.

This achievement was made possible because of your donations to the Scholarship Fund at Ascension St. Joseph Hospital! Now, Alex is making a difference in your community as he has accepted a position at St. Joseph Hospital.

Here are his heartfelt words, "As a local senior, I was fortunate to earn a scholarship from the St. Joseph Foundation. I used this scholarship to further my education and provide myself with more opportunities. I was beyond excited to return to this amazing community when offered an employment opportunity at St. Joseph Hospital - the very same place that helped me get started out of high school. Now I can give back."
