Your Dollars At Work
A competing healthcare facility put her on a five-month waiting list! Your gift to the Ascension Borgess Heart Institute made it possible for this child to get an appointment immediately and receive the care she desperately needed. Thank you for helping our youngest patients!
Your gift made it possible to launch the new Pediatric Cardiology program! Your donated dollars were used to purchase a new electrocardiogram (ECG) machine and pediatric echocardiography probes. Now, Pediatric Cardiology patients can get the care they need close to home.
The mother of the young girl was ecstatic when she received the call from Ascension Borgess to bring her daughter to the Heart Institute to see Dr. Behrle! Thank you again for making her appointment, treatment and follow-up care possible.
Behavioral Health Patients Now Have A Warm, Inviting And Comfortable Space For Their Treatment Because Of You!
Your donation in support of the Outpatient Behavioral Health Fund made this updated new space possible.
The DeLano Behavioral Health Clinic had to relocate due to the condition of the building it was in. The only space available was a vacated Pediatric office that desperately needed renovations. Your gift was used to refresh and improve the office space. Now, patients have an inviting, non-clinical atmosphere for their care and treatment. This space can easily be converted back to clinical space if needed in the future.
As you know, the environment of care for Behavioral Health patients is vital. For some patients, even the smallest changes can make a great impact on their outcomes. The providers at the clinic are extremely grateful for the updated space. Thank you for making this transformation possible!
You Are Making Care For our patients better at Ascension Borgess Hospital!
Your gift in support of the Nursing Fund made it possible for a nurse to continue her education toward an advanced nursing degree!
Your donated dollars to the Nursing Fund provided an educational scholarship for a nurse who is working toward a new degree in nursing. She was also awarded The DAISY Award from The DAISY Foundation which honors nurses across the nation for the superhuman work that extraordinary nurses do for their patients and families every day. This merit-based award honors not only great clinical and leadership skills, but also recognizes especially strong patient care and compassion.
Thank you for your support that brings opportunities for our nurses to reality!
