Your gift in support of the Sr. Betty HOPE (Helping Our Patients in Emergencies) Fund helped patients in their recovery, making a difference when it was needed the most!
In the past year, your gifts provided gas cards for patients living in outlying areas who otherwise could not have afforded gas to make it home. Your donations also covered wheelchair-bound patients with transportation home and assisted patients in need of medical equipment that their insurance would not cover (e.g., oxygen, walkers, bedside commodes and certain medications).
The Sr. Betty HOPE (Helping Our Patients in Emergencies) Fund at Ascension Borgess Hospital helps patients who are in need and supports our mission of Service to the Poor. As good stewards of your donations, all options are exhausted prior to using this fund. Patients who receive assistance have better health outcomes and are less likely to be readmitted to the hospital. Thank you again for helping in their recovery!
