For too many patients, fighting cancer means having to cope with a traumatic diagnosis and the challenge of medical treatment while also facing the risk of financial strain. The Cancer Patient Support Fund at Ascension Genesys Hospital allows social workers to identify and work with patients who are in need of assistance.
