Beneficiary: The beneficiary this year will be our IV Team at Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital - Warren Campus. This very specialized group of individuals is tasked with putting in both PICC lines and Midlines. PICC lines and Midlines are used for long-term antibiotics, critical care medications and other long-term medications. To insert these lines, a specialized ultrasound machine is required, and this money will go toward replacing our end-of-life ultrasound machine. This will without a doubt allow our IV team to place lines more quickly and provide the very best service possible to our patient population.
